Yorktown, V.A. (November 19, 2015) – Brandon Gdovic returns to the track with Mitchum Motorsports at Sebring Raceway this weekend to compete in the 2015 Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Series season finale and World Finals. Gdovic, in just his first season of Super Trofeo racing, hopes to secure top-finishing amateur honors this weekend, while assisting Mitchum Motorsports in winning the team points’ championship.

The championship weekend consists of two rounds of racing on November 20th, followed by the two-race World Finals November 21st-22nd. Gdovic, second overall in driver points behind Mitchum Motorsports’ teammate Dylan Murcott, must remain focused throughout the three-day event which combines the Super Trofeo European and Asian Series with the North American Series. Gdovic will be piloting the No. 46 American Messaging / ComServe Wireless Lamborghini with expectations of ending the 12-race schedule on a high note.

Gdovic’s transition from stock cars to sports cars has been smooth, with the young driver finishing on the podium in the vast majority of races entered this season. He sits comfortably in second place overall in the Lamborghini Gallardo division and is the highest-ranked amateur. Gdovic is looking to add two more division wins to his impressive six-win season in preparation for the World Final events.

“I am looking forward to a big weekend at Sebring Raceway with a busy four-race schedule, including the two World Finals races,” said Gdovic. “I am excited to see what I can do against the European and Asian teams and hope to have a good showing. I am sad to see the season coming to an end, but I enjoyed the experience and leaned a lot about sports car racing.”

The Super Trofeo Series finale qualifying is Thursday, November 19th at 4:00pm ET, with Race 1 Friday, November 20th at 8:50am ET and Race 2 at 1:45pm ET. World Finals Gallardo qualifying is Saturday, November 21st at 10:30am ET with Race 1 at 2:00pm ET. Race 2 of the World Finals is Sunday, November 22nd at 9:30am ET.
