No. 46 WindStax PK Carsport Chevrolet SS… Brandon Gdovic will pilot the No. 46 WindStax PK Carsport Chevrolet SS in the dual Elite 1 races of Valencia NASCAR Fest April 23-24 at Circuit de la Comunitat Valenciana Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain. PK Carsport has an illustrious history in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series winning the 2014 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series Championship with Anthony Kumpen, the 2014 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series ELITE 2 Championship with Maxime Dumarey, the 2014 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series Teams Championship with the No. 24 Chevrolet SS (Kumpen/Dumarey) and the 2015 Rookie Cup in ELITE 2 with Stienes Longin.

Welcome Back … 24-year-old Gdovic is no stranger to the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series. He made his debut in 2015 at Autodromo dell’Umbria in Magione, Italy capturing two top-five and three top-10 finishes in four races in the Elite 1 and Elite 2 divisions. Gdovic hopes to better this success in EuroNASCAR’s season opener.

First Timer … The Valencia NASCAR Fest weekend marks Gdovic’s first time making laps at Circuit Ricardo Tormo. The road-course ringer will be a quick study though, soaking up all of the information he can about the 14-turn, 2.517-mile Valencian road course, ahead of his return to this track in November. Reigning Lamborghini Gallardo World Champion Gdovic will revisit Circuit Ricardo Tormo over Thanksgiving weekend to once again compete in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo World Championship.

Man of Many Hats… Since Gdovic last competed in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, earning two top-five and three top-10 finishes at Autodromo dell’Umbria in Magione, Italy, the 24-year-old has kept busy. Gdovic competed in the NASCAR XFINITY Series at Watkins Glen for Precision Performance Motorsports’ debut, scoring a 13^th-place finish. He wrapped up a record-setting debut Lamborghini Super Trofeo Series Season, securing the North American Amateur Championship and the Gallardo World Championship at the World Finals event at Sebring International Raceway. Gdovic joined the Performance Tech Motorsports’ driver lineup for the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona at the Daytona International Speedway to begin the 2016 season. Last week he returned to the XFINITY Series at Bristol Motor Speedway, scoring his career-best oval track finish and besting most of the XFINITY Series regulars.
