About Brandon

Brandon Gdovic, 24, first began racing in 2009 in the NASCAR Limited Sportsman division at South Boston Speedway. He scored his first win in only his 6th start. He also earned the pole position at Martinsville Speedway in the fall of 2009.

In 2010, Brandon competed in the NASCAR Whelen All American Series Late Model Stock Car division at Langley Speedway. He ended the year by winning the Rookie of the Year title at Langley Speedway and the State of Virginia.

In 2011, Brandon advanced to the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East division. He finished in the top 10 in over half of his career K&N Pro Series East races.

In 2012, Brandon continued to build momentum in the series and improved to 9 top 10’s and 4 top 5’s in 14 starts.

In 2013, Brandon earned his first K&N Pro Series East win at Greenville Pickens Speedway.

In 2014, Brandon completed 45 races in 5 different racing series including ARCA, NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, NASCAR Whelen Series, IMCA Modified, and Legends ending the season with 1 championship, 1 win, 25 top 5’s, 33 top 10’s.

In 2015 , Gdovic graduated to the NASCAR XFINITY Series, posting a career-best finish of 13th at Watkins Glen International in his first race. He spent the season competing in multiple XFINITY Series races while simultaneously taking on the new challenge of sports car racing. The 24-year-old joined Mitchum Motorsports to pilot their Lamborghini Gallardo in the Super Trofeo Series. In 13 starts, Gdovic won top amateur honors 10 times, securing the North American Amateur Championship and the Gallardo World Championship at the World Finals event at Sebring International Raceway.

By 2016, Gdovic’s success in all forms of motorsports caught the attention of the community and he joined the Performance Tech Motorsports’ driver lineup for the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona at the Daytona International Speedway to begin the 2016 season. Gdovic went on to compete in a full Lamborghini Super Trofeo season, finishing only two points out of the lead in second place. He split his time road course racing and oval track racing in the NASCAR XFINITY and K&N Pro Series East for Precision Performance Motorsports.

Gdovic kicked 2017 off on a high note, competing in the 24 Hours at Dubai, followed by his second Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona. He plans on running a third consecutive Lamborghini Super Trofeo Series season, the TCR Middle East Series, and a handful of NASCAR XFINITY Series races.
